Understand the pair

Your learning language is the language you are trying to understand and remember. Your translation language is the language used to explain the selected word. Keep the pair consistent while starting so review answers are predictable.

Stickly browsing settings with separate controls for translation, highlights, and practice.
Language selection with the learning language and translation language distinguished.

Choose during onboarding

Open language setup: Continue from welcome until the language-selection screen appears. Select the learning language: Choose the language whose words you want Stickly to recognize and review. Select the translation language: Choose the language in which you want definitions or translations shown. Continue to translation: Finish setup and make one deliberate translation to confirm the pair.

Change languages later

Open Settings and use the Languages section when your focus changes. Word Hub can still expose other collected language pairs, while the main focus determines the default view.

If matching looks wrong

Check the current learning language and pair in Settings. Confirm the page contains the same language form you saved. Search Word Hub with the relevant language focus. Reload the page after changing extension preferences.
